Remote Screen Share

The below facility allows us to login to your computer and provide remote assistance live. For your protection and assurance, we will not be able to login again without your permission as the password will always change.

Click on relevant operating system for instructions:

  1. Enter the invitation code we give to you
  2. Download the file and then run it
  3. You will be presented with a dialogue “Do you want to allow this file to make changes to your machine” – select “Yes”.
  1. On Safari, enter the invitation code provided and click “Allow” to download the file
  2. Click the smiley face icon at the bottom of your machine
  3. Click on your downloads folder on the left hand side, double click the folder starting with getscreen.me and then double click the file in the folder. You will be presented with a warning – just click the blue “open” button.
  4. You get another warning to do with screen recording, simply click “Open System Settings“.
  5. Look for Getscreen and toggle to enable – it should look something like this:
  6. If you get a Privacy & Security prompt, enter your password.
  7. Click “Open Accessibility Permissions“. If you get  the following prompt, just click “Later“
  8. You should now see your mac settings dialogue, but if not simply click the apple logo top left, then “system settings“, then “privacy & security” on the left, then accessibility, and toggle on Getscreen option and enter your password.
